Salary Transaction
To add Salary Transaction details, follow the steps below:
- After logging in to the Company Main menu, go to Transactions > Salary Transaction
- The Salary Transaction entry form will open. Fill in the details as follows:
- Header Section
- Document # – System-generated or manually entered unique salary transaction number – press F4 to search or create a new entry.
- Employee – Select the employee for whom salary is being entered – press F4 for employee list.
- From Date / To Date – Define the salary period.
- Department / Designation / Shift – Select from drop-downs or use F4 to auto-fill based on employee selection.
- Salary Details Section
- Category / Sub Category – Select employee classification (e.g., Office, Field, Temporary).
- Bank Account No – Bank account linked with employee salary.
- Work Type – Choose how the work is structured (e.g., Full-time, Part-time, Project-based).
- Basic Salary – Monthly or daily base salary amount.
- Salary Type – Choose Hourly, Daily, or Monthly.
- One Day Work Hr – Total working hours considered for a full day.
- Present Days – Actual days the employee was present during the salary period.
- Gross Salary – Total calculated before deductions or adjustments.
- Net Salary – Final amount after deductions and additions.
- Notes – Add any remarks regarding the salary transaction – press F4 for common remarks.
- Paid – Tick if salary is already paid.
- Paid Date – Select the payment date if marked as paid.
- Paid Amount – Actual amount paid to the employee.
- Grid Section (Head Code-wise Salary Breakdown)
- Head Code – Component of salary (e.g., Basic, HRA, Bonus).
- Amount – Corresponding amount for each salary head.
- Notes – Any component-specific remarks.
- Once all the details have been entered, click on Save button. Your Salary Transaction will be created.
- New button will be activated. To create another Salary Transaction, click on New button and start again with steps mentioned above.
