To view Leave Day's Transaction details, follow the steps below:

    1. After logging in to the Company Main menu, go to Transactions > Leave Transaction
    2. The Leave Transaction entry form will open. Fill in the details as follows:
    3. Form Fields
      • DocNumber – Auto-generated or manually entered document number for tracking – press F4 to search existing entries.
      • Document# – System-generated unique document reference (auto-filled as 0 for new entries).
      • Employee – Select the employee who is applying for leave – press F4 to open employee selection list.
      • Leave Type – Choose the type of leave (e.g., CL, PL, SL, EL) – press F4 to pick from predefined leave types.
      • Date – Select the date on which the leave is taken using the calendar icon.
      • Notes – Add any remarks or reason for the leave. Press F4 for help or pre-defined comments.
    1. Buttons
      • New – Clears the form for entering a new leave request.
      • Save – Saves the current leave transaction.
      • Delete – Deletes the selected leave transaction (if user has permissions).
      • Undo – Reverts any unsaved changes made to the form.
      • Close – Closes the Leave Transaction form.
    1. Steps to Enter a Leave Transaction:
      • Enter or confirm the DocNumber.
      • Select the Employee and the relevant Leave Type.
      • Choose the correct Date of leave.
      • Add any necessary Notes.
      • Click Save to store the leave record.

Notes:

  • Leave transactions directly affect payroll processing. Ensure all leave entries are updated before running Salary Generation.
  • If multiple leave days need to be entered, repeat the above steps using the New button.
  • Use F4 to quickly select employees and leave types for accuracy and speed.
