To add department details, follow the steps below:


    1. After logging in to the  Company Main menu, go to Masters > Department
    2. The Department entry form will open. Fill in the details as follows:
      • Name - Press F4 to select an existing department or type to add a new department name.
      • Code - It is auto-generated by the software; but you can change it manually if required.
      • Name - Enter the display name of the department (e.g., Accounts, Production, HR).
      • Status - Tick the check box to mark the department as Inactive if it is no longer in use. Leave unchecked for Active departments.
      • Notes - You can either type directly in the notes field or press F4 to open a box and add any description or  comments related to the department.
    1. Once all the details have been entered, click on Save button. Your Department account will be created.
    2. New button will be activated. To create another Department account, click on New button and repeat the steps mentioned above.
