To add Business Rules details, follow the steps below:

    1. After logging in to the  Company Main menu, go to Masters > Business Rules.
    2. The Business Rules entry form will open. Fill in the details as follows:
      • Department – Enter or select the department for which the rule applies. Press F4 to search or select from the predefined list.
      • Designation – Choose the employee designation. Press F4 for selection.
      • Shift – Select the applicable shift. Use F4 for ease of input.
      • Effective From Date – Select the date from which the rule will be effective.
      • Effective To Date – Select the end date (if applicable) until which the rule will remain valid.
      • Rules Type – Select the type of rule (e.g., Overtime, Late Mark, Attendance Policy, etc.).
      • Rules Value – Enter the numeric value/parameter for the rule (e.g., number of minutes, percentage, amount).
      • Action – Choose the action to be performed when the rule is triggered (e.g., Deduct, Allow, Restrict).
      • Remarks – Add related notes, clarifications, or policy info. Press F4 for stored text or help.
    1. Once all details have been entered, click on the Save button. Your Business Rule will be created and stored in the system.
    2. A New button will be activated. To create another Business Rule, click on New and repeat the above steps.
