Attendance (Daily)
To add Attendance (Daily) details, follow the steps below:
- After logging in to the Company Main menu, go to Transactions > Attendance [Daily]
- The Daily Attendance form will open. Fill in the details as follows:
- Header Section
- Date – Select the attendance date for which records will be entered.
- Department – Select the department whose employees' attendance is to be recorded. Use F4 to pick from available departments.
- Shift – Enter or select the shift applicable for the selected department. Use F4 to search.
- Grid Entry
- Enter or verify the following details for each employee:
- L# – Line number (auto-generated).
- Employee – Employee code. Select or type the code.
- Employee Name – Automatically displayed once employee is selected.
- Department – Department of the employee.
- Designation – Job title of the employee.
- Shift – Assigned shift for the day.
- Start Time / End Time – Actual in and out time for the day.
- Hours – Total worked hours calculated from time entries.
- Day(s) – Attendance value (e.g., 1 for full day, 0.5 for half day).
- Basic Salary – Displayed or calculated salary portion.
- Add./Less – Any manual salary adjustments.
- Net Salary – Final calculated amount for the day.
- Notes – Any remarks for this entry.
- Late Allow – Grace time allowed for late entry (if applicable).
- Late Adj. – Late hours adjusted (deduction if applicable).
- Overtime – Overtime hours worked.
- Over Adj. – Overtime adjustment (manual or auto-calculated).
- Important Notes
- Entries linked with Salary Transactions are displayed in RED and cannot be modified.
- Use Ctrl + T to view linked Salary Transaction Document Number.
- Once all attendance details have been entered, click on the Save button. The attendance record will be stored in the system.
- To clear the current screen and enter attendance for another date/department, click on the Delete All or Cancel button as required.
